About the Artist

Hi, I’m Jennifer Baysinger

“My ideas and inspiration come from many places, but it always begins in nature. I have an active imagination and a passion for the outdoors. I discover interesting shapes, textures, and patterns that find their way into each piece I create. The macro world is fascinating, which heavily influences my abstract painting style. Along with being an artist, I am also a Sommelier and Wine Educator. My time working in the wine industry has inspired new illustration-style paintings that I began in late 2023. New for 2025, I have added hand-painted textiles to my portfolio.

Working in different mediums enables me to unleash my creativity, offering portals for boundless imagination to flourish. I used to worry that not sticking to one style would hurt me as an artist, maybe it does, but creating without boundaries is who I am.

I am thrilled to collaborate on commissioned pieces. Whether capturing a beloved pet’s personality, immortalizing a cherished memory, or creating custom art for a space, I welcome the challenge and appreciate the opportunity to make personalized works of art for every special project.

My studio is in the charming town of Chapin, South Carolina.”
