About the Artist

Hi, I’m Jennifer Baysinger

“My ideas and inspiration for my artwork and photographs come from many places, but it always begins in nature. I have an active imagination and a passion for the outdoors, where I discover interesting shapes, textures, and patterns that find their way into each piece I create. I find the macro world fascinating, which heavily influences my abstract painting style. I am also a Sommelier and Wine Educator. My time working in the wine industry has inspired illustration-style works focusing on food and drinks, which I began in late 2023. In 2025, I added hand-painted textiles and custom-painted shoes to my portfolio, and new for 2026, I am working on a new series called ‘Encapsulated’, using epoxy within my works of art.

Working in different mediums enables me to unleash my creativity, offering portals for boundless imagination to flourish.

I am thrilled to collaborate on commissioned pieces. Whether creating custom pet portraits, immortalizing a cherished memory, or creating custom art for a client, I welcome the challenge and appreciate the opportunity to make personalized works of art for every special project.

My studio is based in Chapin, South Carolina.”
